Protecting People and the Planet

At SWS Group, our mission is clear: to deliver top-tier products and services that safeguard both our community and the environment. We seamlessly integrate sustainable practices into our operations without ever compromising the high standards of hygiene essential to our industry. We recognise the challenge of balancing effective sanitation with environmental impact. That is why we invest significant resources into continuous innovation—ensuring we stay ahead of industry standards and provide our clients with future-ready solutions.

Our 2030 Vision: 4 Big, Bold Goals

We aren’t just planning for the future; we’re building it. By 2030, we are committed to driving positive change through four key pillars:

Zero Waste & Circularity: Closing the loop on textile waste by diverting fabrics from landfills and ensuring 100% of our packaging is removable, reducible, or recyclable.

  • Decarbonisation & Energy: Accelerating operational efficiency through on-site solar energy and the transition to high-efficiency vehicle technology.
  • Climate Action: Actively removing internal combustion vehicles from our roads by migrating our sales and account management fleets to hybrid and electric alternatives.
  • Water Stewardship: Taking quantifiable steps in Co2 reduction and resource preservation by reusing hot process water within our facilities.

Planet: Cleaner Operations, Greener Results

Our commitment to the Earth is dual-layered: improving how we work so you can improve your footprint.

Electrifying Our Fleet Icon 4

Our fleet is undergoing a powerful upgrade, transforming the way we move between sites and serve our customers. We’ve already rolled out hybrid vehicles across our sales and service teams, dramatically cutting fuel use and slashing carbon emissions.

For our clients, this means cleaner operations end-to-end—your hygiene partner is arriving at your premises with a lighter footprint and smarter, more efficient transport.

Our solar panels act as tiny sun‑catchers, transforming Western Australia’s abundant sunlight into clean electricity that powers our facilities every day. By generating energy on-site, we significantly reduce our reliance on traditional power sources, stabilise our operating costs, and lower exposure to rising energy prices. Just as importantly, this shift to renewable energy delivers a meaningful reduction in our carbon footprint, helping us run cleaner plants, support our customers’ sustainability targets, and contribute to a healthier environment for the communities we serve.

We are proud to use FSC‑certified paper across our entire range, giving you confidence that every product you choose supports responsible forest management.

We apply the same level of care to waste as we do to product quality. Waste is not an afterthought; it is designed out of our operations wherever possible.

For your club, venue, or workplace, this means you can maintain high standards of hygiene while also meeting your own sustainability targets and stakeholder expectations.

We are moving away from the traditional “take‑make‑waste” model and redesigning our products with the full life cycle in mind. Our product roadmap embraces circularity at every stage—from material selection to end‑of‑life recovery. Wherever possible, we use recyclable, responsibly sourced materials and components that are durable, easy to repair, and designed for a long service life. This means less waste to landfill, more value from every item in circulation, and hygiene solutions that support your sustainability goals as well as your operational needs.

People & Impact: Hygiene as a Human Right

Beyond the environment, our sustainability journey is fuelled by a commitment to the health and vitality of the people we serve.

  • Holistic Wellbeing: We view health through a wide lens. From initial R&D to final service execution, our goal is to enhance the quality of life for our customers, employees, and the global community.
  • Empowerment Through Education: Knowledge is the best tool for prevention. We share expert insights and industry best practices to empower individuals to take control of their environments.
  • Collaboration & Accessibility: Excellence in hygiene should not be a luxury. Through innovative models and strategic partnerships, we work to make premium hygiene solutions accessible regardless of location or economic status.
